It's the 14th of September, and Fall has anounced it's arrival with bucketsfull of rain. Fall is a time of year that I both love and dislike, for entirely different reasons. In many ways, Fall is the most colorful time of year - the leaves turn every shade of brown, yellow and orange, and there is something slightly magical about the feeling in the air. However, after the short but sweet colorful period, there is the much longer, colder and darker period after all the leaves have fallen and everything seems to be some shade of gray. Then again, once Fall has gotten that far, it's not that long 'till Winter and Christmas ;) Have a good Fall

I just realized that a rather depressing journal entry has been displayed on my page for God knows how long - so, here's a much happier update! First of all: I love spring. Nothing feels quite as nice as seeing the flowers popping up everywhere, feeling the sun on my face and hearing the birds sing after a loooong, cold, grey and dreary winter. There is a scence of enormous relief in it. Somehow, I don't think it would be half as nice if you didn't have to go through winter to get to spring - it makes you realize how pleasent it actually is. I'm trying to encourage myself by imagining that it might be the same way with exams... if you didn'

It hit me today that I'm actually pretty alone. Don't get me wrong - I have many friends and a family that loves me very much. But they're not here. If I disappeared right this second, no one would start worrying for at least three days. That makes me feel pretty lonely.
